Being a type 1 diabetic, made Maegan learn from a very early age the importance of food and that taking care of her body was the most important thing. A survival of sorts. But with yoga, she has learned to truly live. And what it means to nourish and love her body from the inside and let it shine out!
Maegan has been practicing yoga since 2006. Receiving her RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance. She has found influence through teachers like Baron Baptiste, BKS Iyengar, & Rodney Yee.
Firmly rooted in her background in personal training Maegan teaches a playful, heartfelt, and empowering Power Yoga Style. Emphasizing the relationship between body, mind, and breath to help lead others inward toward freedom and release, so that they can comfortably and competently move their bodies through life and let their true Self shine out!

This to me, can be said for so much. A lot of my themes are “letting go”. This encompasses that to me. Let go of Self-Judgment, creates space for Self-Love. Let go of tension/stress, creates space in the body- to move deeper, and in the mind- offers a new perspective, and allows room to offer forgiveness. This is my life mantra- now. ☺
