Kelly Schulze was introduced to yoga 22 years ago with a Rodney Yee VHS tape for Weekend Warriors. Running and sports have been threaded through her life’s interest and she has used her yoga practice to help recover and move forward. She has a passion to introduce yoga to new students, athletes, and for developing yoga classes for participants with special needs and their caregiver. With 15 years as a high school teacher, Kelly has a presence that calms new students and allows long time practitioners to know that she is there to guide each of them in their journey. Recognizing the daily challenges of life she works to help all of her students find peace and balance both on the mat, and tools enter the world beyond the studio.
Kelly earned her 200 Hour Teaching Certification from Yoga on High Teaching Institute with an emphasis in the Hatha style of yoga. When she is not on her mat or in the studio, she enjoys being outside with her husband, kids, and the family canine. Reading outside on a sunny day in the shade and walking barefoot on a beach are where you will find her when the constraints of life allow.
